Mount Vernon

We took a little trip to Mount Vernon today. Marcus and I both agree this is one of our favorite places to visit in the area. We went one year at Christmas for the candlelight tour which was amazing. We plan to go this year with our girls.
Nice to meet you!
Andy, (Marcus' nephew) Betty, Audrey and Sojung.
Enjoying the view of the Potomac.
Our free spirit!
The girls in front of the Potomac.
One of Sojung's many talents.
It was fun talking to the actresses dresses in period costume. They told us about what it was like when General Washington lived at Mount Vernon.
It was a perfect day. The birds were singing.
Blue sky!
Having fun.
Playing a matching game in the kids' section of the museum.
Pass the sugar please!
We had to drag Betty out of here. They had a Mount Vernon dollhouse. Do you think Toys R Us carries there?
Mommy and Sojung helping the girls with dress up.
Having tea.

Looks like you had a fun day too! Wasn't it just beautiful out? We went to Frying Pan Park and then to Skyline Drive. I have lots to blog about too! Mount Vernon is great; I haven't been there for a really long time though.

Awwww, Mount Vernon! We tried to make it this summer when we were in the DC area, but we ran out of time. Hopefully NEXT TIME, but what fun! It looks like a blast, I am a sucker for a good museum!
